James Gage Moss born 12-27-2014

4 pounds 11 onces 19 inches long!

He is about a month early and had to be taken to Huntsville Hospital

because of some breathing problems. His mom Jessica had to stay in ECM hospital to recover from her C-section. It was so hard for her to have to see him leave.... Gage's father J.R. and Jessica's daddy David drove to Huntsville with the ambulance to take Gage.

My little sister Heather (GG to Gage) stayed here to support Jessica and make it easier for Jessica to be separated from Gage.

Praying hard that Gage and Jessica both have an easy and quick recovery and get to come home soon.

Jessica got to hold Gage for the 1st time today and feed him his 1st bottle 12-30-2014

"Finally got to hold our baby boy! He is no longer on the Cpap and is breathing on his own. They are trying to get him to feed from a bottle but they are going to keep trying. He's weighing 4 pounds and 11 ounces. He's taking a pacifier. He loves his mommy and daddy!Now we take a nap!"

"Gage finally took a bottle...or started to...he hasn't quite got the hang of it yet. He was just waiting on Mommy to feed him. He's so perfect! They said if everything keeps up like it has they are going to move him over to the progressive side. Which basically means he has more privileges because he is doing so well. The next contact time is 8, so I won't be on here or talking to anyone until after'"

Update!
"Gage took a whole bottle (25cc) tonight! They have also moved him over to the progressive side! They still have him under the lights for jaundice, but he's doing really well! They said they should up his feeding to 30ccs tomorrow and when he's able to take all of it, they will remove the IV in his head. I'm so proud of my little man! He's doing amazing! Can't wait to ring in the New Year with the two loves of my life! "

"They have upped his feeding to 30cc but he actually ate 35cc. Because they upped his feeding, they have removed his IV from his head. Next we are hoping they remove the feeding tube from his nose tomorrow. He already has so much personality! They say he has attitude... I think he gets it from both sides Lmao! He grins so big and it's aggravating because I can't get a picture! Hopefully we will be going home next week! "

"Gage ate 60cc at his 4 o'clock feeding! They are letting him eat as much as he can handle now. His nurse said that tomorrow he's probably gonna go in an open bed and usually that means in 48 hours they can go home if they maintain their vitals in the bed! I'm so happy my little boy is doing so well! Everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers!"
